Jan Tomanek, Vice President of Oil & Gas

Mr. Tomanek joined Gustavson Associates, LLC in March 2007.  Since that time he has been involved in and personally conducted several oil and gas projects involving geological and geophysical studies for exploration and development and resource and reserve estimates. These projects were in Albania, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Guyana, Brazil, Bangladesh, Israel, Egypt, Australia, Canada, the United States including the Rocky Mountain and other Basins onshore and offshore. Using a multidiscipline approach, he has provided technical support for resource estimates and guiding exploration and development projects for various clients. These projects included sandstone and carbonate plays, internationally as well as fractured shale and coal bed methane plays domestically.

Prior to joining Gustavson Associates, LLC, Mr. Tomanek was the Vice President of Exploration for Petrogulf Corporation in Denver, Colorado where he managed the exploration and development program for a privately held oil and gas company. He also directed the exploration and development efforts of seven geoscientists.  He served in this capacity for nearly three years.  Areas of experience included the Powder River Basin, Green River Basin, Piceance Basin, Sacramento Basin, Raton and San Juan Basin CBM, Los Angeles Basin, Delaware Basin, offshore Gulf of Mexico and Gulfcoast Texas and Louisiana.
