Benjamin Kinney, Legal and Technical Analyst

Mr. Kinney joined Gustavson Associates in 2013.  His previous work included advising the U.S. and Afghan Governments on a $600 million gas-to-power project in northern Afghanistan.  He has experience evaluating and managing large infrastructure projects and has worked with federal and state governments in various capacities.  He has specialized training in natural gas contracts and negotiations, including production sharing contracts, transportation and processing and gas supply and purchase agreements.  His extensive involvement and training in the oil and gas industry allows him to converse freely with a variety of industry experts and his international experience allows him to operate comfortably across cultures.  Mr. Kinney is licensed to practice law in the State of Wyoming and brings a range of legal, government/policy and project management skills to Gustavson Associates.
