The Petroleum Geology and Exploration Potential of Argentina

The principal objectives of this study of Argentina are:

Carry out a preliminary survey of the petroleum favorability of the sedimentary basins of the country;
Identify, from the above survey, a number of high priority basins and to carry out full qualitative assessments of their oil and gas resources;
Identity and recommendation for the future study a number of basins, producing and/or non-producing, that appear to have significant hydrocarbon potential.
This study area includes the entire country of Argentina and its contiguous offshore areas.
