Bruno Maldonado, Geophysical Manager – Houston
Mr. Maldonado joined Gustavson Associates, LLC in November of 2017. Mr. Maldonado has over 30 years of domestic US, international oil & gas exploration, production and field development experience with various Oil & Gas Companies. Previously, Maldonado was part of the International New Ventures team at Apache Corporation, Ping Petroleum and Newfield Exploration Company, Houston, Texas. From 2001 until 2017 Mr. Maldonado held various positions ranging from International Geophysical Advisor to Exploration Manager Brazil. During this time Maldonado was involved in assessing various Oil & Gas opportunities in Europe, West Africa, SE Asia, Latin America, Canada and the Caribbean. Prior to working internationally, Maldonado was a Senior Staff Geophysicist in the Shelf and Deep Water Gulf of Mexico for Burlington Resources. From 1992-1997 Maldonado was Technical Marketing Manager for seismic contractors Diamond Geophysical and PGS covering North and South America. From 1982-1992 Maldonado performed exploration and production geophysics covering Oklahoma and the Gulf of Mexico Deep Water for Oryx/Sun Co. of Dallas, Texas. Maldonado has co-author several geo-technical papers focusing on seismic acquisition and data processing in the Society of Exploration Geophysics and the Asociación Mexicana de Geofísicos de Exploración.
